Young Couple Enjoying Their First New Home at Lakewood Crossing

Vince Giannelli and his fiancée Angelica Bellisario are getting married this October and recently moved into their beautiful new Lakewood Home at Lakewood Crossing, Lakewood’s popular clubhouse community conveniently located in northwest suburban Hampshire.

As first time buyers, Vince and Angelica wanted to find a new home that featured a great floor plan they could grow into, a home that represented a strong value as well as a community in an easily accessible location. From the moment they first toured Lakewood Crossing, they knew they had found their new home.

Lakewood Crossing offers homebuyers a choice of four different attached style Village homes plus 16 traditional single-family designs to choose from. “We were living with our parents in Schaumburg and when we started our new home search last summer, we knew right from the start that we wanted to get the bestbang for our buck. We looked at just about every builder west of Schaumburg but it wasn’t until we stopped in at Lakewood Crossing that we felt at home. We both fell in love with the Ridgefield model, because it had all the features we hoped to find and then some,” said Vince.

The Executive plans are the homes that interested Angelica and Vince the most, because of their terrific combination of sheer space and outstanding included features like three-car garages, large basements, first and second floor family rooms and configurability for up to six bedrooms.

“We wanted a home with a large kitchen because Angelica loves to cook along with a family room with plenty of space because we both have large families and we entertain quite frequently. We loved the layout of the kitchen and family room in the Ridgefield. Another item that really impressed me was the second floor family room; this was the first time I had seen this feature in a home and it offers endless possibilities on how we can utilize this space,” Vince said.

The Ridgefield is one of Lakewood’s most popular plans because it provides so much value. Vince works in media services in Oak Brook and has found his commute to be a breeze, with easy access to I-90 just a few minutes from Lakewood Crossing. Angelica is a home care nurse and works in a variety of locations throughout Chicagoland. Access to Lakewood Crossing for commuting or shopping is extremely easy, with the nearby Big Timber Metra station or at two locations in Elgin for quick, gas-saving travel to downtown Chicago. The nearby Randall Road corridor and the Huntley Prime Outlets are also just minutes from the community.

“We both feel that the location of Lakewood Crossing is ideal, as it’s close to all the amenities we need,” Vince said.During the purchase and construction of their new home, the couple had such an outstanding experience with Lakewood that Vince said it is something they both will remember for a long time. As first time buyers, they had lots of questions and made many calls to the sales center with requests for room measurements and Lakewood’s personnel was always ready to accommodate every request, which made them feel they were in good hands.

“At no time did we ever feel pressured, we were always able to take our time and we were treated extremely well. Lakewood really made our transition to becoming homeowners and the entire homebuying process much easier than we both anticipated it would be and we will always remember their great service from a great staff,” said Vince.

Both Angelica and Vince agree that their new home at Lakewood Crossing has the space, style and flexibility to meet their needs for many, many years to come and they are looking forward to raising a family in Hampshire.

“Aside from the incredible experience we received from Lakewood, we love our new home and the location of this community. We definitely will be living here for a long time,” Vince said.
